The topic of travelling has been on my mind lately, thus my inspiration for today’s
inspiration board that I designed. I also think it is an adorable theme for say…
The couples who have travelled together, have many different backgrounds or
perhaps met each other while travelling. You’d be surprised how many couples
meet that aren’t from the same place, or even near each other. The most
interesting part I find with a travel theme wedding is the love story behind
it. The neat thing about the travel theme is that it is easy to incorporate
your love story, travel stories and personalities.

For example, this past week in the studio I’ve been doing arts and crafts to
prepare for one of our weddings in a few weeks. I have been using the old tea
bag trick and have photo copied our couples various passport stamps to make a
paper Mache collage for the bottom of the centerpiece that holds their floral
arrangements.

The ideas for a travel theme are endless!

-Candy buffet, with candy from around the world

-Every course can be from a different culture

-Fun cultural dances for everyone to partake in

-Menus shaped as passports, with a stamp of what dish you chose

-Each table can have decor from different countries that have been travelled together

I could come up with ideas all night long!
