We’re off to the beautiful Tigh-Na-Mara resort this weekend for a little R&R before the wedding season is fully unleashes fury. We’ll be hitting the spa and enjoying the food and wine (and sleeping in! Hooray!) I’ll be out of the office from Friday January 25 to Tuesday January 29 and back at it on Wednesday. Claudia and John, thank you for your most generous gift…we love you both! Fire me an e-mail if you have a request or need anything at all! info@milestoneevents.ca.Â
No commentsWedding Graffiti - How Cool Is That???
Every once in a while we find out about some really cool product or service and I just have to tell you about it. This time it’s wedding graffiti. “Wedding what?,” you ask. Wedding Graffiti: removable, easy to apply, not damaging to surfaces, vinyl lettering: great for monograms on doors or champagne flutes or just about anything. Stick it on your car, your favours, your walls…the dance floor. Possibilities are endless. The only limitations are basically your imagination (oh and that pesky place called your venue who might not be keen on putting 150 of these little gems on your martini glasses :)) Pick your colour, size, shape…I love this idea!

Wedding Fair 2008
Wedding Fair this year was amazing! We had such a great time, met so many excited brides and got to hang out with all my wedding industry friends. We even had a proposal! Jessica & Corey weren’t engaged yet but they thought they would come to see what there was to see since they were thinking about getting hitched soon. They stopped by our booth and we really hit it off with promises of meeting up when the big event finally transpired.
So what does Corey do? They finish looking around and then he takes her to the fountains in front of the Pan Pacific and gets down on one knee. They come running back in to show me the new ring with a shaking hand and a glorious grin. And I can hardly wait to meet them this Saturday! Congratulations you guys!
We also had alot of press at the show. We were on Global news at 6 and 11 on Saturday as well as the morning news on Sunday. Last night we were featured on Shaw’s “The Express” and it was an awesome experience!
My good friend Erin Gilmore (www.eringilmorephotography.com) took some amazing pictures of my booth for those of you who didn’t make it out. The stationery was designed by the talented Tammy Lyon of Uniquity Invitations (www.uniquityinvitations.com). The rental goddesses at Pedersen’s supplied the linens, chairs, plates, stemware and flatware. Thanks a lot girls! I appreciate it. Also a big thanks to Jeanette from Delovely and Erin from Kirby’s for all of their help too…I am blessed with amazing friends.
All in all a terrific weekend and I can hardly wait until next year!
