Milestone Events

Milestone Events is closing up shop from November 3rd to the 10th as we go in search of a warmer climate.  We will be back in the office on Sunday November 11th so be sure to drop us a line: info@milestoneevents.ca and we’ll catch up with you as soon as we’re back!

I love my job.  I especially love it when I get to work with couples like Jen & Dan.  Jen moved here from Minesota to be with Dan as he completed his accounting degree.  Since she didn’t have her Canadian work visa yet we had the luxury of being able to spend a lot of time together and as a result I made a really great new friend.  I am definately looking forward to many American Thanksgiving dinners to come and the future consumption of “Daly Specials”.

This wedding was extra special for a couple of reasons: (a) Jen and Dan have become great friends and it was an honour for us to be there; and, (b) Jen’s grandparents celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on the same date - you can’t ask for a better omen than that.

The reception was hosted at the newly renovated Stanley Park Pavilion.  The service here and the quality of the food was outstanding.  Laura-Jennifer and her staff were very welcoming and gracious; no request was too small or too large for them to accommodate and the chef out did himself.  Thanks again for having us…a great time as always.

I can’t believe that the 2007 wedding season is almost over and the 2008 season is looming around the corner already!  With that in mind the fall wedding show circuit is about to begin.  We’ll be at the “Vancouver Wedding Show” hosted at VCEC on October 20th and 21st at .  Please be sure to come down and visit.  It is always exciting for us to meet new couples just embarking on their journey to wedded bliss…Tickets and information can be found at www.weddingfair.ca.
