Milestone Events

I met Chris & Elisa at Wedding Fair in January of 2007…and did they ever need a hand.  With their busy schedules and a wedding up the coast they didn’t have a lot of time to deal with a lot of the details.  The time that Elisa did have she wanted to use in creting crafty projects.  She did DIY invites, place cards, ceremony programs and made her own centerpieces.  (She did an amazing job, by the way.)

We had 200 guests, mostly from Vancouver, travel to Rockwater Secret Cove Resort.  Guests stayed at both the resort and bed and breakfasts in the area.  They were treated to the very best of Chris and Elisa’s hospitality: there was a welcome party on the Friday night, Breakfast Saturday morning, and a cocktail reception Saturday afternoon after the ceremony.  That night was a feast like I have seldom seen: lobster, chicken, salmon, prime rib…the food was beautiful.  Followed by an Italian inspired late night buffet with pastas and sauces.  The next morning, after the evening celebration was finished, Chris and Elisa hosted a farewell breakfast.

The ceremony had a little rain: but it was still beautiful under the tent over-looking the ocean.  The sun came out just in time for dinner and the celebration continued until well past 3am.

Thank you so much for your generosity and hospitality.  Your families are amazing and we had so much fun.  Wishing you both every happiness as you start on this new part of your lives together.
